The National Cleaning Suppliers Association (NCSA), partnered with Lennox Institute has developed a Management program to meet specific association requirements.
Supply organisations have long recognised the crucial role of their team and the significant part they play in the day-to-day success of their organisation. This customised program is designed to drive profit through top and bottom line adjustments, get more from you and your teams's time and show you how to manage (and avoid) Industrial Relations disputes.
In a drive to assist employers to attract and retain people of a high calibre and provide a career pathway, Lennox Institute presents a Nationally recognised qualification through accredited training and recognition for your Managers.
The course will be delivered in a series of nine full day Management Workshops with schedules arranged in advance for planning purposes. The program will be available nationally, dependent upon numbers.
The course is aimed at managers or employees who have been identified for promotion into a management position. Suitable for Sales Representatives, Area Managers, Sales Team Leaders, State Managers.
In consultation with NCSA and identified students, Lennox has customized a program to meet the specific requirements of the NCSA members and the Cleaning Industries middle management.
The course includes the following topics:
In addition to the Nationally accredited units of competency required for the Diploma of Management qualification, this program also includes a ½ day workshop covering Basic Trainer Skills. Designed to assist course delegates who may be required to deliver training as part of their role, this is a preview of the 5 day Certificate IV level course which would cover the topic in more detail at a later stage if required.
"The development of this course is a step towards recognising the importance of training within the Cleaning Industry and companies should take full advantage of this oportunity to educate and reward middle management that have shown an attitude for achievement" Terry Fraser CEO of the NCSA stated. He went onto say NCSA will be announcing Sponsored Awards to be presented to successful Graduates at the completion of the course.
$4,500.00 – This nationally recognised qualification may attract financial assistance of $4000 for eligible employees through the Australian Apprenticeship Scheme.
After completing this qualification students may gain credits for further studies.

Trade shows are an excellent way for members to take their products to their users, showing the latest equipment, chemicals and supplies directly to a multitude of users.
Cost-effective trade shows should be available to members throughout Australia. Membership of a national association can achieve this. NCSA plans regular regional shows, smaller and more intimate than occasional, large national shows. So all members, both suppliers and distributors, can benefit.
Disseminating information is vital to the cleaning industry, both to users through seminars for such users and for members by way of information sessions on aspects of business that will benefit members in the running of their businesses.
Only through membership of a group such as NCSA can individual members benefit through networking with end-users everywhere in Australia.
As a foundation member of the recently formed Cleaning & Hygiene Council of Australia (CHCA), an umbrella body for the industry, NCSA ensures cross-pollination with other members including the two major contractor associations.
In addition, membership of CHCA, by representing the hundreds of thousands of people involved in every aspect of cleaning (including supply) ensures access to government at the highest levels.
By way of its own regular newsletter and website, NCSA keeps members advised of developments within the organisation. In addition, a very close relationship with trade magazines gives NCSA a forum as well as a voice to take our group messages to the wide world of cleaning.
