It was announced recently that ISS Facility Services will be the major sponsors for the NCSA Exhibitors Innovative Product or Service Award to be run in conjunction with CleanScene12.
Award applicants will first be judged at a function to be held by each NCSA Branch with the winner and runner-up going onto being judged at CleanScene12 – the Cleaning and Hygiene Show to be held 23rd to the 25th October 2012 at Sydney Show Grounds.
Entries are commencing to come in with all entries to be submitted to the organisers by the 30th July 2012 with judging to start late August.
Terry Fraser, CEO of NCSA, was very pleased with the early entries but is challenging the Cleaning Industry to come up with innovation to help change the way we clean. He went onto say that Fast Speed Polishing changed the way we cleaned in the 1960’s, Suction Polishing changed cleaning in the 1970’s, Back-Vac vacuuming did it in the 1980’s, Micro-fibre cloths in the 1990’s, and Training of Cleaning Operators in 2000. “What will be the major change for this decade be?” he asked. Will it be a product or a service?
The judging panel will be chosen from noted industry experts within their individual field.
